The Associated Press reported Wednesday that Snoop Dogg apologized through his Instagram post to Gayle King, "CBS This Morning" anchor, who interviewed former basketball player Lisa Leslie after Kobe Byant's death.
CBS News posted a part of the interview last week that shows King bringing up questions about Bryan's rape allegations in the past and Dogg posted aggressive comments, saying she better back off "before we come get you," on his Instagram with insulting photos and mems, according to The Associated Press.
The Associated Press reported that after some of the backlash, Snoop Dogg responded that he did not mean to threaten her, but Wednesday he finally offered a full apology to King.
According to The Associated Press, Dogg said on his Instagram, "Two wrongs don't make no right. when you're wrong, you gotta fix it."
"I should have handled it way different than that, I was raised way better than that, so I would like to apologize publicly for the language that I used and calling you out your name and just being disrespectful," he said.
