4 visitors to NW. Minnesota hotel fall ill with Legionnaires'; pool, spa closed

The Crookston Inn's spa and pool area in northwestern Minnesota will be closed for another two and a half week after four visitors became ill between Jan. 22, and 27, Star Tribune reported.
An agency said four guests were not overnight visitors and they were suspected Legionnaires' disease. According to State health investigators, it is often found the ability of bacteria's travel in the spa area due to its temperature, so they are working on finding the source of bacteria in the hotel, Star Tribune reported.
Kris Ehresmann, the Health Department's director of the infectious disease division suggested people who stayed at the hotel from Jan. 13 to Feb. 14 and have suffered from some symptoms like fever, fatigue, headache, muscle aches, chills, shortness of breath, loss of appetite and coughing need to go to see a health care provider to see a possibility of Legionnaires' disease, Star Tribune reported.
